LTE TDD Common Parameters (Basic TDD)

For Waveform Playback (ARB) capability.

This topic describes the carrier-level LTE TDD parameters that apply to both downlink and uplink, including cell identity, system bandwidth, and cyclic prefix.

Physical Layer Cell ID Group

Sets the physical layer cell ID group (NID1, 0-167). Combined with Physical Layer Cell ID Sector to uniquely determine the Cell ID. See 3GPP TS 36.211.

Physical Layer Cell ID Sector

Sets the physical layer cell ID sector (NID2, 0-2). Combined with Physical Layer Cell ID Group to uniquely determine the Cell ID. Cell ID = Group x 3 + Sector. See 3GPP TS 36.211.

System Bandwidth

Sets the LTE system bandwidth. When selected, Total Number of Resource Blocks and Total Number of Occupied Sub-carriers are automatically adjusted.

Total Number of Occupied Sub-carriers

Query only

Displays the total number of occupied sub-carriers for the selected system bandwidth. The center subcarrier is not used for transmission; transmitted sub-carriers = occupied - 1.
